Role Overview

As the company expands, they seek a Full Stack Engineer to join a platform team responsible for evolving an expanding feature set beyond MVP stage. The predominant technology stack includes Python, Node.js, TypeScript, React, AngularJS, RESTful APIs, and AWS cloud hosting. Candidates with experience in other languages are welcome provided they are willing to learn.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of five years professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in programming with Python, Node.js, and experience with both relational and NoSQL database technologies.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including ECS, Lambda, EC2, ELB, API Gateway, Security Groups, and VPC configurations.
• Experience with OpenSearch implementations.
• Ability to write, review, and architect software collaboratively with peers.
• Application of best engineering practices such as test-driven development, clean code principles, and continuous integration/deployment in product lifecycles.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working within DevSecOps environments.
• Broad and deep expertise in application platforms, integration patterns, event-driven architectures, data management, and infrastructure as code strategies.
• Active use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) for enhanced coding, debugging, and prototyping, combined with a critical understanding of AI capabilities in engineering.
