Role Location and Work Schedule
This role is based in London. Initially, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team is expected to work onsite three days a week during the first month, transitioning to two days a week thereafter.
Position Overview
As an SDR at PayFit UK, you will serve as a critical front-line contact, responsible for building and growing the sales pipeline. Your main duties will involve identifying prospective clients, raising awareness about PayFit, and qualifying new business opportunities by connecting with senior decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in prospecting to develop a robust pipeline for the Account Executive team using phone, email, social media, and online events.
- Design_and_execute_creative_and_strategic_outbound_campaigns (including emails, cold calls, video-mails, and events) targeted at specific markets to generate leads.
- Identify key decision-makers within target companies and understand how PayFit’s solutions can address their needs.
- Communicate PayFit's value propositions tailored to diverse industries, personas, and challenges.
- Convert outbound leads into qualified prospects for the Account Executives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions within the company's CRM system (Salesforce).
- Collaborate with the team by sharing insights and best practices to support PayFit UK's growth goals.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience in B2B sales, preferably in an outbound role, or completion of a formal sales training program.
- Alternatively, experience in roles involving high-volume outbound calling and lead generation.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and active listening abilities.
- A positive, motivated, and energetic outlook.
- Demonstrated persistence and drive to accomplish targets.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Compensation and Team Structure
Salary for this position is £31,000 annually plus £15,000 in uncapped OTE. You will join a team of five SDRs and collaborate closely with three Account Executives. Your manager, Daniel Iles, brings five years of SaaS sales experience and will provide support and guidance during your onboarding and beyond. This role offers a strong foundation in sales and opportunities for career advancement in SaaS sales.
Recruitment Process
- Submit a short creative video introduction.
- Participate in a 30-minute interview with a recruiter.
- Attend an on-site interview with the SDR Manager, which includes technical discussions and a role-play session (up to 1 hour).
- Final interview with the Head of Sales lasting 30 minutes.
- Post-offer background checks including verification of identity, educational qualifications, and previous work experience (ISO27001 certified).
