Full Stack Developer

About the Role

KALSOFT is looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to work onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role demands a professional with eight years of solid experience in building scalable web applications, with expertise spanning .NET and Java backend technologies as well as contemporary frontend frameworks. Fluency in Arabic is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and support full-stack web applications leveraging .NET/ASP.NET Core and Java/Spring Boot technologies.
• Create and maintain resilient RESTful APIs, backend services, and web applications.
• Develop dynamic, responsive, and intuitive frontend user interfaces utilizing React, Angular, or equivalent frameworks.
• Design, implement, and optimize relational database systems using SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or comparable platforms.
• Produce clean, maintainable, scalable code following industry-standard methodologies and best practices.
• Ensure seamless integration between frontend components and backend APIs or third-party systems.
• Diagnose and resolve software bugs, performance bottlenecks, and production issues.
• Collaborate effectively with UI/UX designers, quality assurance, business analysts, and cross-functional technical teams.
• Participate in thorough code reviews and uphold coding standards related to security and development.
• Enhance application scalability, reliability, performance, and security features.
• Document technical processes and assist with deployment and ongoing maintenance.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of comprehensive full-stack software development experience.
• Proficiency with .NET framework, specifically ASP.NET Core and C#.
• Extensive experience in Java and Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Solid background in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend systems.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and Spring Data JPA/Hibernate frameworks.
• Strong expertise in SQL querying and managing databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with frontend technologies including React, Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proven ability to integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of package management tools including Maven, Gradle, and NuGet.
• Experience in unit testing frameworks and debugging methodologies.
• Understanding principles of authentication, authorization, and application security.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Microservices architectures using .NET and/or Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Working experience with caching technologies like Redis.
• Competence in testing tools such as JUnit, Mockito, xUnit, NUnit, or Moq.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean software architecture.
• Experience working within Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
