About the Role
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global leader in technology, is organizing a walk-in drive on 5th September 2026 in Trivandrum for the position of DevOps Site Reliability Engineer. This role is critical, forming the foundation of the project's success. Prospective candidates must have a valid EP number prior to interview registration.
Job Description
The role involves working with automation, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), Jenkins, configuration management tools like Chef and Puppet, and scripting languages such as Python, BASH, or Shell Script. Candidates should have strong expertise with Unix/Linux and public/private cloud platforms including PCF, Azure, and AWS. Experience with NoSQL and SQL databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, and PostgreSQL is required. Familiarity with microservices architecture and Unix tooling with robust scripting skills is essential. Knowledge of ITIL processes is also desired.
Eligibility and Application Process
- Must hold a BE, B.Tech, MCA, M.Sc, or MS degree from a full-time program.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant IT experience after qualification.
- Applicants who have attended a TCS interview in the past month are not eligible to apply.
- Registration for EP number is mandatory and can be completed online prior to the interview.
- Applicants are requested to bring mandatory documents to the interview including the latest resume, filled TCS application form, government ID proof (PAN or Aadhaar), and two passport-sized photographs.
Additional Details
The walk-in interview will be held at TCS Trivandrum. Candidates with strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, effective communication, and a proactive ownership attitude are preferred. Referrals are welcome.
