DevOps Engineer

Overview

This role focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines to facilitate smooth application deployments. It involves automating infrastructure configuration and provisioning across cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as managing containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines for software delivery.
• Automate the provisioning of infrastructure and handle configuration management tasks.
• Oversee and support cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Deploy and maintain applications using container technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Monitor system health, availability, and security parameters.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and application-level issues promptly.
• Collaborate closely with development, quality assurance, and operations teams to optimize software release cycles.
• Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Document infrastructure architectures, deployment workflows, and operational procedures thoroughly.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong background in Linux and Unix system administration.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in working with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
