Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical discovery sessions to identify customer challenges and determine optimal ways Postman can add value.
  • Build strong relationships with technical leaders and decision-makers to advise on best practices for maximizing Postman throughout the API lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with customers to establish success metrics, design customized proofs of concept, and deliver engaging demos and workshops showcasing Postman’s capabilities.
  • Coordinate closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to align strategies and drive outcomes supporting customer objectives.
  • Keep abreast of Postman’s platform features, API ecosystem, and industry trends such as AI in API design, DevOps, and security.
  • Gather and provide customer feedback to Product and Engineering to influence product roadmap and improve user experience.
  • Represent Postman at industry events, webinars, and conferences; develop technical content like blogs, demos, and tutorials highlighting real-world applications and best practices.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer-facing roles supporting internal or external clients.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.
  • Strong expertise in one or more of the following areas: REST and GraphQL APIs; API lifecycle management tools (such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Kong, Apigee); CI/CD and automation; cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP; and modern software development methodologies.
  • Fluent English communication skills with confidence in delivering customer-facing presentations.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% within the EMEA region with occasional global travel to company events.
