Role Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical BIM Engineer based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves the development, management, and coordination of advanced 3D Building Information Models (BIM) for complex construction projects. The successful candidate will partner closely with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and contractors to facilitate smooth project execution by utilizing advanced BIM techniques.

Core Responsibilities

• Create and update detailed 3D BIM models using software such as Revit, ArchiCAD, and Navisworks.
• Integrate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within project models to detect and resolve conflicts efficiently.
• Conduct clash detection analyses and prepare comprehensive reports to assist design and construction teams.
• Generate and manage technical documents, drawings, and construction specifications derived from BIM data.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to uphold BIM standards, protocols, and best practices throughout projects.
• Translate project specifications into precise BIM deliverables aligned with applicable building codes and industry benchmarks.
• Maintain organized BIM data, ensuring consistent file management practices including naming conventions and version controls.
• Provide support during design phases, construction oversight, and project handover processes.
• Perform rigorous quality assurance reviews of BIM models to safeguard data accuracy and consistency.
• Offer training and technical support to team members regarding BIM workflows and software usage.

Required Qualifications

• At least 10 years of professional experience in BIM engineering, architectural technologies, or related construction disciplines.
• Advanced skills in BIM software platforms such as Revit, ArchiCAD, and Navisworks or comparable tools.
• Proficient in 3D modeling, visualization techniques, and technical drawing production.
• In-depth understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and industry-level best practices.
• Proven expertise with MEP system coordination and clash detection processes.
• Solid knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and design standards applicable to projects.
• Experienced with CAD software and digital documentation platforms.
• Exceptional organizational ability and project management skills with great attention to detail.
• Strong analytical capabilities to resolve complex modeling and coordination challenges.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills enabling productive interaction with diverse teams.
• Experience in construction administration and project delivery phases is preferred.
• Familiarity with BIM execution plans and standards for information exchange.
• Knowledge of sustainable construction methodologies and green building certification processes a plus.
