About the Team

Join the Sea HQ Finance department, a pivotal team supporting accounting and finance functions across the Group's three main businesses: Garena, Shopee, and Monee, operating in diverse regional markets. The Transfer Pricing (TP) function within HQ Finance ensures compliance with global TP regulations, maintains thorough documentation, and aids in advancing the Group’s tax strategy. In this role, you will oversee and facilitate transfer pricing compliance, reporting, and advisory work across all jurisdictions where the Group conducts business.

Job Overview & Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the Group’s transfer pricing matters across all operational countries.
  • Based within the Group Tax team in Singapore, supervise transfer pricing compliance tasks, track reporting deadlines, and guarantee that accurate TP documentation is maintained.
  • Support and respond to TP inquiries or audits by collaborating effectively with external service providers and local teams.
  • Keep abreast of changes in TP laws and regulations across the Group’s jurisdictions through continual research and analysis, evaluating their potential impact.
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of the Group’s transfer pricing strategies, coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Partner with finance teams to resolve questions related to Group TP policies and related party transactions.
  • Take charge of the Group’s Country-by-Country Report (CbCR) submissions and local notification requirements.
  • Handle miscellaneous assignments or projects related to transfer pricing as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional accounting qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA preferred.
  • Advanced certifications in taxation (CPA/CA or equivalent) are highly desirable.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in Transfer Pricing roles, gained either at a Big Four firm or within a multinational corporation’s in-house tax department.
  • In-depth knowledge of transfer pricing regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy.
  • Enthusiastic about tackling new challenges and adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
  • Capability to independently conduct research and manage projects effectively.
