System Integration Developer

About the Role

Join Power Engineering Corp as a System Integration Developer in Doha, Qatar, supporting a prominent banking client. This full-time position focuses on designing, building, and maintaining system integrations across cloud and on-premises environments within a tightly regulated banking sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop APIs using the .NET framework and oversee the entire API lifecycle with API Manager.
• Create RESTful services, implement rate limiting and access controls, and handle API versioning.
• Utilize Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), identity and access management solutions, and event-driven architecture approaches.
• Develop and deploy containerized applications leveraging Docker and Kubernetes technologies.
• Integrate on-premises infrastructure, such as Azure SQL, with cloud platforms and external payment gateways.
• Build cloud-native applications using Azure Functions, Azure Blob Storage, and other related Azure services.
• Set up continuous integration and delivery pipelines using Azure DevOps and manage infrastructure via automation tools like Terraform.
• Ensure all development complies with banking security mandates and regulations including PCI and encryption protocols.
• Lead code reviews, diagnose performance bottlenecks, and prepare comprehensive test plans.
• Collaborate across teams and produce detailed technical and training documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
• At least 8 years of professional experience in system integration, API design and development, .NET framework, Azure cloud services, and DevOps methodologies.
• Solid experience with web and database development within the banking industry.
• Expertise in Azure cloud offerings, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud-native programming.
• Skilled in continuous integration/delivery, configuration management, and infrastructure automation.
• Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems.
• Microsoft Azure certifications related to Architecture, Development, or DevOps are preferred.
• Experience developing microservices and working with Kubernetes is advantageous.
• Knowledge of C#, WCF services, and relational databases like SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL is a plus.
