About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Visual/UI Designer to design engaging and user-friendly digital experiences. This role involves creating interfaces for both web and mobile platforms, ensuring ease of use, accessibility, and alignment with brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for websites and applications.
- Produce graphic elements such as icons and illustrations while maintaining brand coherence.
- Create responsive and adaptive designs compatible with multiple device screen sizes.
- Develop wireframes and interactive prototypes to validate design concepts.
- Collaborate closely with UX researchers to understand user needs and optimize experiences.
- Manage design systems and style guides to guarantee consistency across platforms.
- Perform usability testing and apply accessibility standards in designs.
- Iterate on designs continually based on user feedback and testing outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of five years experience in Visual, UI, or Web design roles.
- Degree or diploma in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related fields; equivalent practical expertise is acceptable.
- Demonstrable portfolio showcasing effective, attractive UI designs.
- Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, or comparable design software.
- Deep understanding of layout principles, typography, color use, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams including developers and UX researchers.
- Awareness of web and mobile technologies and their influence on design implementation.
- Commitment to staying current with emerging design trends and tools.
Additional Skills (Bonus)
- Knowledge of front-end development languages and practices such as HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
