Job description

Role Overview

As a Senior Manager of Field Engineering, you will oversee a dynamic team of Solutions Architects specializing in technical pre-sales across the ASEAN region. Your leadership will bridge technology and business strategies, directing your team to craft impactful solutions that fuel growth through innovation and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and nurture a high-performing, inclusive pre-sales team fostering a culture of belonging, continuous improvement, and psychological safety aligned with company values of customer focus, teamwork, and diversity.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and deliver data-driven, value-oriented solutions.
  • Implement best practices that enhance team productivity, cooperation, and overall business effectiveness.
  • Form strategic advisory partnerships with customers and partners to support their digital transformation journeys.
  • Work in partnership with Marketing, Sales, Services, and other departments to deliver a cohesive customer experience.
  • Serve as a regional leadership team member representing the company and promoting an inclusive workplace culture.

Desired Qualifications

  • Proven leadership or management experience within technical teams operating in Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS environments, or comparable hands-on engineering or consulting background.
  • Demonstrated success in coaching and growing diverse, high-achieving teams.
  • Robust collaboration capabilities, enabling effective partnerships with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional leaders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical expertise in Data Engineering, Databases, or Data Science, preferably in consulting or client engagement roles.
  • Strong interest in data, AI, and cloud technologies with the capability to link these to practical business outcomes.
