Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer with expertise in AWS to join our Sydney-based team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiencies in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and RESTful API development, along with robust knowledge of AWS cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot framework.
- Design and implement microservices architectures and REST APIs.
- Utilize AWS cloud services including EKS (Kubernetes), SNS, SQS, CloudFormation, and KMS for application development and deployment.
- Manage secrets and secure credentials with AWS Secrets Manager and adhere to encryption best practices.
- Apply cloud-native design principles for scalable and efficient AWS deployments.
- Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and EKS.
