Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily cybersecurity engineering operations encompassing network security, endpoint protection, identity and access management (IAM), and vulnerability oversight.
  • Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity specialists, fostering technical excellence and providing clear guidance.
  • Develop and enforce robust security controls to safeguard critical data and infrastructure while adhering to relevant standards and best practices.
  • Champion cyber transformation initiatives that enhance the organization's security capabilities.
  • Create and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards aligning with regulatory frameworks.
  • Direct incident response activities and ensure prompt resolution of detected security vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Coordinate with diverse teams to embed security measures into operational workflows and new technology rollouts.
  • Regularly report on cybersecurity operations progress and status to clients, maintaining strategic alignment with business objectives.
  • Guarantee the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of essential services and systems.
  • Stay informed of emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and innovations, and proactively recommend enhancements.
  • Participate in audits, security assessments, and compliance evaluations as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • At least six years’ experience in cybersecurity operations, engineering, and transformation projects.
  • Demonstrated skill in managing and securing environments related to network security, endpoint defense, vulnerability analysis, and IAM.
  • Effective leadership experience, including the management and coaching of cybersecurity teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of security frameworks and regulatory requirements such as NIST, ISO, SAMA, and NCA.
  • Hands-on expertise with security technologies including firewalls, proxy servers, email gateways, endpoint detection and response (EDR), security information and event management (SIEM), IAM platforms, and vulnerability management tools.
  • Capability to engage with clients to present security operations reports, resolve issues, and provide strategic advisories.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in incident management and response processes.
  • Excellent communication abilities for delivering technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks effectively within dynamic environments.

Preferred Certifications

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or other relevant cybersecurity credentials are highly desirable.
