Role Overview
Join Cision's Brandwatch team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR), a key player in expanding the sales pipeline by researching and connecting with potential customers. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about building a career in sales within a fast-growing marketing technology space, seeking opportunities to advance into closing sales roles. You will be instrumental in generating leads, scheduling meetings, and enabling the sales team to convert these into business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the initial point of contact for prospective clients, representing Brandwatch’s brand and SaaS offerings.
- Keep current with industry trends and social media developments to inform sales strategies.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to develop a robust sales pipeline and drive revenue growth.
- Execute approximately 80 outbound interactions with prospects daily using CRM and sales engagement tools to set up product demonstrations and initiate sales conversations.
- Maintain and update a dynamic pipeline of engaged prospects, facilitating seamless handoffs to sales executives for follow-up.
- Participate actively in ongoing training and personal development.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in sales, especially in SaaS or recruitment, or a strong desire to grow a sales career.
- Proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Highly motivated and goal-oriented with a positive attitude aimed at exceeding targets.
- Accountable and able to independently execute tasks.
- Receptive to coaching and self-improvement.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sales quota-driven setting.
