Your Impact and Responsibilities
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will spearhead development teams in delivering enterprise-level software projects and influencing clients' technology roadmaps. You will play a pivotal role in shaping technology strategies, mentoring teams, and directly engaging with C-suite executives to guide major decisions.
This position requires hands-on involvement in designing and building advanced software solutions while fostering engineering best practices within client organizations. Leading multiple teams, you will define both short and long-term technological approaches, aligning product success through measurable metrics and KPIs.
Your work spans industries and technologies, creating transformative technology products and tools alongside cross-disciplinary teams including Agile coaches and designers, based out of our global offices.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum eight years of experience in software architecture and development with a solid track record of translating business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Active engagement in technology communities through activities such as open-source contributions, speaking engagements, or technical blogging.
- Proficient knowledge and hands-on experience with full application stacks, including technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue, jQuery, Java, Spring, C#, .NET, Node.js, SQL databases (MySQL, SQL Server), MongoDB, cloud-native databases, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Docker, CircleCI, Travis.
- Strong practice of engineering principles, including code refactoring, design patterns, continuous integration, scalable application development, and security best practices.
- Experience in leading Agile development teams, coaching Agile mindsets, facilitating sprint ceremonies, defining work scopes, and enhancing developer skills.
- Skilled in test-driven development with experience in unit testing frameworks like Karma, JUnit, NUnit, MSTest.
- Excellent time management abilities to thrive within a complex and autonomous work landscape.
- Fluent communication skills in English and local office languages, effectively adapting communication for various audiences and seniority levels.
