Operations Assistant I

Job Overview

The Operations Assistant I role involves supporting site operations under the supervision of the Foreman or General Foreman. Responsibilities include interpreting instructions, moving materials and equipment to various work areas, and preparing construction sites. The role requires participation in concrete work such as pouring, spreading, and finishing, as well as assisting with routine and turnaround maintenance projects.

Main Duties

• Receive and follow guidance and assignments from Foreman or General Foreman.
• Transport materials and equipment to designated locations and assist in work site setup.
• Prepare construction sites, pour and spread concrete, set forms, and finish surfaces as needed.
• Assist with ongoing and turnaround plant maintenance activities.
• Support plant production tasks such as receiving and shipping materials and products.
• Maintain accurate records, care for tools and equipment, and conduct cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.
