About the Role
The General Manager position at a McDonald’s corporate-owned restaurant plays a vital role in operating a profitable establishment that consistently meets high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. This leadership position requires coordinating with Department Managers, setting strategic goals, and ensuring the entire team performs effectively to deliver excellent customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the restaurant operations to achieve profitability and uphold McDonald’s standards for food quality, customer service, and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with Department Managers to set targets, track progress, and provide coaching and guidance to improve departmental performance.
- Recruit, develop, and mentor Department and Shift Managers to maintain a competent leadership team equipped to manage daily tasks and future growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience as a General Manager at high-volume locations, preferably within the quick service restaurant sector; experience in hospitality or retail is also valued.
- Must be at least 18 years old to qualify for a managerial role at corporate-operated restaurants.
