Continuous Improvements Coordinator

Main Responsibilities

• Lead Lean methodologies implementation using tools like Kaizens, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), waste walks, Gemba walks, and 5S to enhance operational processes.
• Implement Health, Environment, and Safety (HES) standards and tools across the shop floor to boost production efficiency.
• Collaborate with production and support teams to ensure all operators are equipped with necessary tools and accurate documentation to perform at or above target output rates.
• Assist in developing the plant’s organization and structure following a Kaizen continuous improvement philosophy.
• Foster and promote the Hutchinson Excellence System culture within the plant environment.
• Manage selected projects aligned with the continuous improvement strategy as assigned by the HES Manager.
• Facilitate and lead performance improvement workshops (Kaizen events) directly on the shop floor.

Additional Duties

• Support coordination of production line relocations and equipment installations.
• Collect, analyze, prepare, and present data related to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist Engineering and Production departments in developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Undertake other tasks as assigned by management.
