Role Summary
We are on the lookout for an experienced Class 2 Driver to strengthen our close-knit Silverdale team.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver LPG gas bottles to various customer locations.
- Engage professionally with customers during deliveries.
- Carry out periodic inventory counts and ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Load and unload gas bottles carefully, adhering strictly to safety regulations.
Requirements
- Hold a clean Class 2 driver’s license.
- Have a minimum of two years’ experience driving Class 2 or larger vehicles in New Zealand.
- Possess physical fitness to manage the demanding nature of the role.
- Maintain a clean Ministry of Justice record.
- Show a strong work ethic and be capable of working both independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Demonstrate a readiness to learn and comply with given instructions.
- Possession of a forklift license and Dangerous Goods endorsement will be beneficial; however, assistance to obtain these can be provided.
- Have a strong commitment to health and safety due to handling hazardous materials.
- Have reliable transportation to commute to and from the workplace.
