Role Summary

We are on the lookout for an experienced Class 2 Driver to strengthen our close-knit Silverdale team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport and deliver LPG gas bottles to various customer locations.
  • Engage professionally with customers during deliveries.
  • Carry out periodic inventory counts and ensure compliance with operational standards.
  • Load and unload gas bottles carefully, adhering strictly to safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Hold a clean Class 2 driver’s license.
  • Have a minimum of two years’ experience driving Class 2 or larger vehicles in New Zealand.
  • Possess physical fitness to manage the demanding nature of the role.
  • Maintain a clean Ministry of Justice record.
  • Show a strong work ethic and be capable of working both independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Demonstrate a readiness to learn and comply with given instructions.
  • Possession of a forklift license and Dangerous Goods endorsement will be beneficial; however, assistance to obtain these can be provided.
  • Have a strong commitment to health and safety due to handling hazardous materials.
  • Have reliable transportation to commute to and from the workplace.
