About the internship
This internship is for highly driven, technically capable software engineering students or freshers who want hands-on exposure to drone autonomy, artificial intelligence, simulation, and flight control. The role is centered on building software for unmanned aerial vehicles and working on robotics-oriented systems in a practical in-office environment.

The organization focuses on designing, developing, and manufacturing high-performance drones for security and surveillance use cases. Its work involves improving UAV capabilities for monitoring, precise data capture, and live situational awareness through research, product engineering, and strict quality checks. What you will do
- Design and implement autonomous flight logic and mission workflows.
- Develop artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computer vision solutions for UAV use cases.
- Work on guidance, navigation, and control software for drone systems.
- Set up and build simulation environments in Gazebo.
- Connect software with ArduPilot or PX4 autopilot platforms.
- Carry out software-in-the-loop testing and validation.
- Troubleshoot, refine, and improve C++ and Python applications.
- Build software for onboard companion computers.
- Prepare documentation for software design and test outcomes.
Requirements
Candidates should have strong interest in UAV development, robotics, and autonomous systems, along with the ability to contribute to technical software work in a full-time in-office internship. Relevant skills and interests are expected, and freshers seeking jobs may also be considered.
Other requirements
- Good understanding of drone autonomy and control systems.
- Hands-on experience with ArduPilot or PX4.
- Working knowledge of MAVLink and PyMAVLink.
- Familiarity with ROS or ROS2.
- Experience with embedded Linux development.
- Prior work on drone software is preferred.

Stipend
The internship offers a monthly stipend of ₹5,000 to ₹10,000.
Additional information
On successful conversion to a permanent role, the expected salary is ₹8,00,000 per year.
