About the internship
Internship Overview
This internship offers hands-on experience in full-stack development and AI integration within a unified conversational AI platform. You'll contribute to building scalable products from the ground up, including backend APIs, frontend interfaces, and AI-powered voice agents designed for millions of users. Collaborate closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment focused on delivering consumer-facing B2C mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop complete features encompassing database schema design through user interface implementation for new products.
- Create APIs, data models, and client-facing functionalities that meet production standards.
- Partner with senior engineers to shape system architecture and product strategy.
- Design and implement scalable voice agent workflows integrated into final products.
- Build AI-driven features and rapidly iterate from experimental prototypes to production-ready solutions.
- Support development of mobile applications aimed at extensive user adoption, ensuring scalability and performance.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Strong command of TypeScript, React, and Next.js demonstrated via coursework, projects, or internships.
- Backend development experience using Python and FastAPI frameworks.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB or equivalent relational and NoSQL systems.
- Experience with AI agent frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or Pydantic AI.
- Regular use of AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor in development processes.
- Preferred but not mandatory: exposure to cloud services (AWS/GCP), proficiency in AI/ML libraries (PyTorch/TensorFlow), contributions to personal or open-source projects, and experience with voice agent platforms like LiveKit Agents or Pipecat.
- Ability to design systems capable of handling large-scale, high-traffic production workloads.
