Role Overview

The Task Associate plays a crucial part in upholding operational excellence to support sales efforts and deliver outstanding experiences to Ulta Beauty guests. Responsibilities include ensuring merchandise is stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned duties. The position supports Merchandise and Operations Managers by focusing on performance, people, and adherence to processes while requiring strong attention to detail and commitment to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the achievement of retail sales targets by timely execution of tasks and ensuring product availability on shelves.
• Achieve compliance and fulfillment of operational goals including task dashboard completion, shipment handling, merchandise setup, and inventory procedures.
• Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for teammates and guests.
• Engage regularly in training sessions covering product brands and categories to enhance skills and improve sales results.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and standards, including dress code adherence.
• Perform merchandise resets, planogram maintenance, marketing display setups, inventory counts, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
• Excel in maintaining store cleanliness across all areas: sales floor, restrooms, backroom, cash wrap, and break zones.
• Safeguard company assets by following loss prevention policies while providing excellent guest service.
• Carry out additional operational duties as required.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

• Preferred education: High school diploma.
• Preferred experience: At least one year of relevant work or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Competency with basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.

Working Conditions

• Frequent movement throughout the store during shifts.
• Extended periods of standing, as well as bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting.
• Lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds regularly.
• Coordination and manual manipulation of products and equipment is required.
