Position Overview

The Task Associate (TA) supports operational excellence to facilitate sales goals and deliver exceptional experiences to customers. This role involves restocking merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing various operational duties in alignment with Ulta Beauty's standards. The TA works closely with Merchandise and Operations Managers, focusing on performance metrics, team collaboration, and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Help meet or surpass store retail targets by effectively executing assigned tasks and ensuring product availability.
• Comply with task dashboard requirements, completing operational processes such as shipment handling, merchandise setups, and inventory procedures promptly.
• Support a welcoming and inclusive environment for colleagues and guests alike.
• Engage in ongoing training for brand and category knowledge to foster professional growth and enhance sales performance.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and dress code standards rigorously.
• Carry out merchandise resets, planogram installations, promotional display setups, inventory counts, and shipment processing using company systems and best practices.
• Maintain assigned areas by replenishing stock, organizing product displays, and ensuring testers are available.
• Uphold store cleanliness in all areas including sales floor, restrooms, cash registers, backroom, and break spaces.
• Protect assets by following loss prevention protocols and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Complete other operational assignments as directed by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Minimum of one year relevant work experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Proficiency with basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Problem-solving skills to address workplace challenges effectively.
• Availability to work flexible hours including mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Working Conditions

• Frequent movement throughout the store during shifts.
• Regular standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting motions while on duty.
• Continuous or frequent lifting, carrying, or moving items up to 25 pounds.
• Constant coordination and manipulation of objects as part of regular tasks.

The hourly pay for this role ranges from $15 to $20, depending on factors like education, qualifications, experience, shift, and location.
