The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) position is a development opportunity designed to prepare you for a future Store Manager role at CVS.

Program Details and Responsibilities

The SMIT program spans 16 weeks and combines self-paced training and collaborative learning to develop your leadership skills. You will receive virtual and hands-on training guided by a support team including your District Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager Coach. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supporting your team by effective verbal and written communication.
• Delivering outstanding customer care to ensure excellent service.
• Implementing merchandising strategies to drive store sales growth.
• Managing store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.

Additional Requirements and Conditions

• Willingness to accept a Store Manager promotion at any CVS Pharmacy within the designated market.
• Flexibility to transfer between CVS Pharmacy stores in the market as needed.
• Readiness to work variable schedules based on business demands.
• Possess a High School diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in retail management or as a CVS Supervisor is desired.
• Having a four-year college degree is preferred but relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative.

Working Hours and Compensation

This full-time role anticipates approximately 45 hours per week. The typical pay range varies from $18.50 to $23.88 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
