Role Overview

This opportunity allows for relocation to one of several vibrant locations including Poland, Spain, or the UAE. Revolut offers comprehensive support throughout the relocation journey. Upon settling, employees can opt for flexible work arrangements, choosing between remote work or a hybrid schedule in offices situated in Krakow, Barcelona, Madrid, or Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop APIs for mobile platforms.
• Create and enhance microservices to refine the existing architecture.
• Contribute to critical systems such as risk management, fraud detection, and payment processing.
• Engage in both new greenfield developments and iterative improvements of current systems.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Java programming language.
• At least 6 years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a closely related discipline.
• Quick adaptability, strong ambition, and a results-oriented mindset.
• Effective collaboration skills within fast-paced team environments.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kotlin or Scala programming languages.
• Background in financial services.
• Work experience in startup or scaling companies.
• Exposure to product-focused development environments.
