Based at Nottingham Trent House, this position involves an influential role as a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner focused on Software Engineering within a leading financial technology firm. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement forward-thinking sourcing strategies to build a strong pipeline of skilled software engineers, addressing both current and future hiring needs.
- Collaborate closely with engineering leadership as a trusted advisor to shape hiring practices, compensation, and talent quality standards, leveraging deep industry expertise.
- Apply market analysis and recruitment data to guide decisions regarding benchmarks and investment in talent acquisition pipelines.
- Enhance the company's presence within the Nottingham tech community through managing user groups and leading participation in significant industry events.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience emphasizing compelling storytelling that aligns candidates with the company's mission and technological challenges.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt innovative recruitment methods and remain updated on the evolving software engineering employment landscape in the UK.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Extensive experience as a full-cycle software engineering recruiter with comprehensive knowledge of the Midlands technology market.
- Strategic thinking abilities that go beyond recruitment transactions to advise senior management and influence organizational hiring strategy.
- Proven success in community engagement through events and conferences to develop brand authenticity and candidate pipelines.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills to deliver outstanding experiences to both hiring managers and candidates.
Work Location and Conditions
This permanent role adopts a hybrid working pattern requiring presence in the Nottingham office three days weekly (Tuesday through Thursday) with work-from-home flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.
