Role Overview

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer - Full Stack, you will lead technical architecture and development for globally distributed SaaS platforms. This position requires mastery in designing scalable backend systems alongside responsive frontends, collaborative cross-functional alignment, and mentorship of engineering talent.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and scale full-stack architectures supporting millions of transactions with high performance and availability.
• Provide technical leadership across engineering teams, creating clear modular designs from complex requirements.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and architectural guidance to promote system robustness and modern design principles.
• Integrate AI tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance development workflows and accelerate delivery.
• Design and maintain microservices, RESTful APIs, and frontend modules ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Own complete software lifecycle stages including requirement gathering, design, deployment, and production support.
• Optimize code and system design for efficiency in rendering, database operations, and space/time performance.
• Ensure 99.99% uptime with fault-tolerant, secure, and observable backend and frontend systems.
• Collaborate closely with product management, UX designers, and site reliability engineers to deliver localized, value-driven features.
• Conduct root cause analysis of production issues spanning database performance to frontend memory management.
• Lead architectural reviews and champion object-oriented and SOLID design patterns organization-wide.

Required Qualifications

• 12 to 14 years of experience in software engineering focused on building scalable full-stack applications within fast-growing product teams.
• Expertise in Data Structures & Algorithms, Object-Oriented Design principles, and time/space complexity analysis.
• Proven skills in designing end-to-end highly available multi-tenant systems, including APIs, web architectures, and data models.
• Experience with backend technologies such as RDBMS, NoSQL databases, caching, microservices, and distributed queues.
• Strong frontend engineering knowledge including component lifecycle, state management, and client-side optimization.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), DevOps practices, and CI/CD automation pipelines.
• Hands-on familiarity with generative AI development tools to enhance coding productivity.
• Excellent communication skills capable of conveying complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent quantitative discipline.
