Team and Role Overview

The Developer Experience (DevX) team is responsible for managing the developer journey from initial discovery through to scalable product building. Their mission is to deliver a seamless onboarding process that enables developers to easily access product information, understand implementation requirements, and work independently. The team emphasizes comprehensive and user-friendly developer tools and documentation, enhanced by feedback collection channels and analytical data to optimize experiences continually.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, customer success, and technical support to enhance and simplify the developer experience.
• Maintain high standards and best practices for APIs.
• Develop advanced user and data analytics pipelines.
• Create an exceptional developer portal and documentation incorporating AI features.
• Contribute to open-source projects and support the growth of the developer community.
• Integrate cutting-edge technologies and upgrade the technology stack.
• Build external tools and services for customer release.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related engineering disciplines.
• Enthusiasm for designing engaging developer-facing products.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Python, or Typescript.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience working with high-traffic distributed systems.
• Hands-on cloud experience, preferably with Google Cloud Platform or AWS including EC2, RDS, ELB, CloudFront, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Preferred:

• Experience designing or maintaining well-known APIs.
• Background in the financial sector.
• Leadership in software migrations involving significant changes.
• Worked in both early-stage startups and large enterprises (1000+ employees).
• In-depth technical expertise in front-end and/or back-end systems.
• Previous roles in developer experience or customer-facing engineering positions.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $111,300 to $190,800 annually.
