Senior Instrumentation & Controls / Building Management Systems Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) and Building Management Systems (BMS) Engineer to play a key role in some of Europe's premier data centre projects. Join a prominent engineering contractor specializing in delivering intricate, mission-critical infrastructure throughout Ireland and Europe. Your responsibility will encompass the full lifecycle—from initial concept to on-site construction—of I&C and BMS system design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of I&C and BMS systems.
• Create comprehensive technical specifications and documentation.
• Assist in procurement processes and vendor evaluation.
• Offer technical assistance during construction phases.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary design teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years experience working in I&C, BMS, or Building Automation disciplines.
• Proven expertise in monitoring and control systems.
• Background in large-scale commercial, industrial, or data centre projects.
