Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to develop our petabyte-scale, high-performance observability platform named ClickStack. This platform transforms telemetry data into actionable insights by integrating logs, metrics, traces, and session replays, aiming to help developers monitor and debug applications more efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own critical frontend and backend features that enhance developer debugging and monitoring.
- Collaborate actively with the open-source community and customers to address their challenges and integrate feedback into the product roadmap.
- Optimize HyperDX and ClickStack to efficiently process massive volumes of observability data, enabling advanced analysis tools and scalable cloud-hosted platform performance.

- Experienced full stack JavaScript developer adept in both frontend and backend technologies.

Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in software engineering, preferably with experience in developer tools.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js including Next.js for frontend and Express for backend.
- Proficient in React.js framework.
- Competent with SQL, particularly for query generation on ClickHouse databases.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
- Enthusiasm for open source and engagement with developer communities.
- Experience designing and developing developer tooling with a focus on usability.
Additional Advantages
- Knowledge of distributed systems and event ingestion pipelines.
- Familiarity with columnar databases.
- Strong opinions and vision for advancing observability tools significantly.
- Experience with supplementary programming languages such as Python, Rust, or PHP for integration development.
- Background in SDK development.
