About the Role
Mandarin Oriental, Singapore is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to reinforce its Security team. This role focuses on maintaining high standards and consistency in all security and operational procedures within our prestigious hotel property overlooking Marina Bay.
Key Responsibilities
- Protect the safety of guests, employees, property, and classified information against crime, violence, and hazards.
- Oversee all facets of security and safety across the hotel complex including its perimeter.
- Execute security and safety operations, including special event coverage and emergency response.
- Report directly to Security Supervisor or higher management as required.
- Conduct frequent patrols to areas needing special attention and fulfill assigned static duties.
- Maintain maximum security and safety standards for guests, staff, and hotel premises at all times.
- Respond promptly to emergency incidents and security alerts.
- Enforce hotel policies and procedures with courtesy, tact, and firmness.
- Document activities in detailed written reports after each shift.
- Verify all incoming postal mail and supply deliveries.
- Identify and eliminate fire and safety hazards.
- Carry out preliminary investigations as necessary.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Security Supervisor or department as needed.
