Private Chef

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Private Chef to join a family household located in the Bukit Timah region of Singapore. This full-time position requires on-site presence and focuses on preparing nutritious, homemade meals daily for a family of five.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare lunch and dinner daily, providing weekday lunch for two adults and meals for the entire family during other times.
• Design menus that meet nutritional guidelines and dietary requirements, prioritize whole foods with balanced macros, and use low-oil and low-sodium cooking methods.
• Procure fresh produce, maintain kitchen inventory, and uphold strict hygiene standards.
• Adapt recipes to cater to food allergies and restrictions, particularly accommodating a dairy-free diet that excludes milk, cheese, and dairy products.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a private chef or in a similar professional kitchen environment.
• Expertise in healthy cooking, emphasizing minimal processed foods and balanced nutrition.
• Culinary proficiency particularly in Asian Chinese cuisine, with knowledge of Japanese-Asian fusion and some Western dishes.
• Ability to creatively modify dishes to respect allergies and dietary limits without compromising taste.
• Reliable, discreet, and maintains professionalism suitable for a private home setting.
• Must hold valid work authorization for Singapore.

Terms and Conditions

• Monthly gross salary ranging from SGD 6,000 to SGD 6,500.
• One-week paid probationary period.
• Following a successful trial, contract duration is between five to six months.
• Immediate availability preferred, ideally able to commence within one week.
