Role Overview

We are seeking a product-oriented software engineer to develop and enhance our mobile app and back-end systems. This role involves working across both our Flutter-based mobile application and FastAPI backend, taking feature ideas through from initial concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop complete product features involving Flutter mobile app, backend APIs, and database management.
• Enhance interactive components including career exploration, user profiles, and recommendation engines.
• Design and maintain APIs, data schemas, and third-party integrations.
• Troubleshoot issues spanning mobile, backend services, data management, and infrastructure.
• Suggest and execute enhancements in user experience, system architecture, reliability, and performance.
• Write comprehensive tests, perform code reviews, and assist with release management.

Technical Environment

• Mobile development using Flutter and Dart
• Backend services written in Python with FastAPI framework
• Data storage utilizing PostgreSQL and Supabase technologies
• Infrastructure managed with Docker and cloud platform services
• Integration through REST APIs, WebSocket protocols, and external systems

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Strong programming fundamentals in at least one contemporary language
• Demonstrated experience completing a substantial software project or application
• Working knowledge of REST API development, relational databases, testing frameworks, and version control with Git
• Proficient debugging abilities and capability to understand new and complex systems
• Attention to detail regarding product usability and interactive behavior
• Capability to assess various options and communicate decisions clearly
• Proactive attitude with good judgment and readiness to highlight issues promptly
• Proficiency in English for effective technical communication; German language skills are an advantage

Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Flutter or other mobile app frameworks
• Familiarity with FastAPI or similar backend frameworks
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL or Supabase database platforms
• Hands-on experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud deployment
• Exposure to AI-driven, data-centric, or user-focused software products
