General Manager

About the Role

This position is with a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald's branding and products. The franchisee, not McDonald's USA, is the employer responsible for all employment-related matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling.

As a General Manager, you will be accountable for operating a profitable restaurant while ensuring McDonald's strict customer standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness are consistently met. Collaborating with your leader, you will establish restaurant goals and develop actionable plans to achieve them.

Leadership Responsibilities

You will oversee a team of Department Managers, supporting them by setting goals, monitoring progress, and coaching to enhance departmental performance. Developing and hiring Department and Shift Managers to build a robust leadership team is also key to your success.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has prior experience managing high-volume quick service restaurants or related hospitality or retail sectors. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to be eligible for this management role.
