Role Overview

The Butler Runner plays a vital support role by assisting the Butler team to centralize the St. Regis Butler Service. The role involves close collaboration with multiple departments such as Engineering, Private Dining, and Housekeeping, ensuring guests receive superior service consistently. The Butler Runner is responsible for maintaining the inventory of essential food and beverage items utilized in Butler services, including coffee, milk, honey, tea, lemon, mint, and related supplies.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive thorough handovers from previous shifts and manage communication tools like GoConcierge and DECT/GXP phones according to policy.
• Participate actively in daily briefings to stay informed on hotel events, occupancy rates, BAR rate, and arrivals/departures.
• Prepare detailed handover notes for succeeding shifts; provide floor coverage in the absence of early morning or late evening Butlers.
• Provide break relief for assigned floor Butlers when required.
• Replenish Butler Pantries with supplies including coffee beans, tea, biscuits, sugars, fresh milk, lemon, fresh mint leaves, and honey.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Minimum 6 months of relevant work experience in a similar capacity.
