Bata Kenya is a prestigious global footwear manufacturer and retailer, known for delivering top-quality products while prioritizing customer satisfaction and ethical business conduct. We are currently looking for a committed and skilled Business Analyst to enhance our dynamic depot team.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Design and implement forecasting models and predictive analytics to enhance forecast precision, detect inactive demand, and identify declining product categories for proactive depot interventions.
• Collect, organize, and interpret sales and operational data to generate weekly, monthly, and seasonal forecasts, performance metrics, and management reports segmented by channel, region, and customer group.
• Enhance distribution networks by ensuring product availability, reducing stock shortages, and boosting operational efficiency across all depot locations.
• Keep depot data accurate for budgeting purposes, annual forecasting, profitability assessments, and strategic decision-making.
• Perform analyses related to profitability, margins, and specific depot performance to guide key business strategies.
• Utilize ERP systems, sales order management platforms, POS tools, and analytics software such as Power BI, Excel, and SQL to deliver operational insights.
• Carry out additional assignments designated by the Group Depot Manager to promote strategic growth and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Statistics, or related disciplines.
• A minimum of four years’ experience in business analysis, data analytics, or similar roles.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Excel, SQL, and various BI or analytics platforms.
• Proficient in ERP systems along with sales order management, POS, and transaction reporting tools.
• High degree of initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating integrity.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate effectively within a collaborative team environment.
