Job description
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled AC Technician based in Doha, Qatar, responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing various air conditioning systems including split units, package units, and chillers across commercial, residential, and industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Install air conditioning units, refrigerant piping, and control panels in line with design plans and safety standards.
- Conduct routine and preventive maintenance to optimize cooling system performance and avoid equipment failure.
- Identify mechanical and electrical issues within HVAC systems, replace defective components, repair leaks, and manage refrigerant recovery and charging.
- Monitor air handling units, fan coil units, and chillers, maintaining precise daily records of all maintenance activities and repairs carried out.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a Technical Diploma, ITI certification, or relevant certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Mechanical/Electrical trades.
- Have substantial practical experience ranging from 5 to 10 years working in residential, hospitality, or commercial HVAC environments.
- Demonstrate expertise in electrical circuitry, safe refrigerant handling methods, and proficiently interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
