Opportunity Overview
This internship offers hands-on experience in operations focused on donor management and fundraising support for Sarayu Trust, an organization dedicated to revitalizing and reconnecting Indian civilization with its heritage, fostering unity and national ideals.
Daily Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the donor and CRM database, including tasks like entering data, tagging, and removing duplicates.
- Monitor incoming donations, reconcile payments, and flag any inconsistencies.
- Prepare and analyze regular reports tracking fundraising campaign progress and donor engagement.
- Collaborate with the fundraising team to ensure prompt issuance of receipts, acknowledgments, and tax exemption certificates (80G).
- Assist in setting up and managing online fundraising platforms such as Ketto, Milaap, GiveIndia, and Razorpay.
- Keep a close watch on payment gateway dashboards and follow up on pending or failed transactions.
- Document fundraising procedures and maintain standard operating protocols accurately.
- Support basic data analysis to identify trends in donor retention and campaign effectiveness.
- Help maintain compliance-related documentation including Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) records as applicable.
