Internship Overview
This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to design and develop sleek, user-friendly frontend interfaces for IoT-based applications. The intern will engage in creating responsive web UIs that function flawlessly across devices and browsers, integrating real-time APIs, WebSockets, and gRPC services to enable live data visualization and device monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Create intuitive user interfaces that provide smooth experiences on various screen sizes.
- Connect and synchronize live data streams from IoT devices through APIs and messaging protocols.
- Develop dynamic visual components such as real-time graphs, alerts, and device status indicators.
- Collaborate closely with UX designers and backend engineers to deliver cohesive and seamless user experiences.
- Optimize frontend performance for handling extensive real-time IoT data sets.
- Ensure applications are mobile-first and consistent across different browsers.
- Produce clean, maintainable, and testable codebases, contributing to reusable UI component libraries.
- Engage in code reviews and continuously enhance frontend development skills.
Eligibility and Requirements
- Applicants must be available for a full-time, in-office internship for six months starting between August 14, 2026, and September 18, 2026.
- Open to Computer Science Engineering students and individuals with relevant frontend development skills and interests.
- Women aiming to launch or resume their careers are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in React.js, JavaScript or TypeScript, and solid understanding of frontend development concepts is preferred.
- Ability to work in-person at Meteoros Sensing Pvt. Ltd. in Chennai to gain practical experience.
