About the Internship
This internship involves designing and developing front-end web applications using modern frameworks and tools. Responsibilities include creating wireframes and interactive prototypes with Figma, collaborating with backend developers to ensure a unified user interface and experience, and building responsive web apps with React.js and Next.js. You will implement client-side routing, server-side rendering, and optimize for performance and SEO. Additionally, the role requires ensuring cross-device compatibility, accessibility, and styling using CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
Interactive elements such as animations, transitions, forms, modals, filters, and search features with validation and state management are also part of the work. Strong focus is on integrating APIs (REST, GraphQL), handling asynchronous data fetching with loading/error controls, and working closely with backend teams on API design including authentication and access control. You'll also write unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress, while debugging UI issues and maintaining the frontend tech stack with updates and security patches.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be students of Computer Science or related engineering fields.
- Must be available for a full-time, in-person internship.
- Internship start window is between 7th August 2026 and 11th September 2026.
- Should be able to commit to the entire 4-month duration.
- Possess relevant technical skills and interests aligned with frontend development.
Additional Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or similar disciplines.
- Strong proficiency in front-end languages including React.js, TypeScript, and CSS.
- Understanding of web design principles, functional layouts, and e-commerce portal needs.
- Experience with API development and consumption using REST, SOAP, or JSON-RPC protocols.
- Skilled in CSS frameworks such as Bulma, Materialize, Foundation, or Tailwind CSS.
