About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Murex Integration Lead with over 10 years of hands-on experience in Murex integration, especially proficient in MXML Exchange, to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This key role focuses on managing and enhancing integration services within Global Markets and Investment Banking sectors, ensuring seamless connectivity with external platforms such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, IHS Markit, OSTTRA, and GoldenSource.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete delivery lifecycle, ongoing support, and continuous enhancement of integration services across banking markets.
- Lead integration efforts concentrating on Murex systems and their connectivity with external platforms.
- Manage and prioritize the engineering backlog related to integrations.
- Supervise a team of integration engineers, ensuring quality delivery, adherence to timelines, and stability in production environments.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and external systems including major market data and trading providers.
- Maintain hands-on involvement in intricate technical solutions and vendor system integrations.
- Provide regular delivery insights and production status reports to senior management.
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum 10 years of direct experience in Murex Integration with substantial expertise in MXML Exchange.
- At least 2 to 3 years of team leadership experience managing integration engineers and project delivery.
- Hands-on knowledge in market data integration, transaction processing, reference data integration, and external vendor/system interfaces.
- Strong background in interface design and development alongside scalable integration architecture planning.
- Experienced with integration protocols and connectivity solutions pertinent to the Murex environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of Murex modules, with particular emphasis on the MXML Exchange module.
Education
A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field is required.
Additional Information
This role is based onsite in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The position demands a technical leader capable of overseeing high-impact integration projects in investment banking and global markets. Candidates lacking direct and robust experience in the aforementioned skills and responsibilities will not be considered.
