Software Engineer

Position Overview

Hire Feed is seeking a dedicated Software Engineer to join their fully remote team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust features across the entire application stack. Collaborating closely with product and design teams, you will transform requirements into reliable, well-tested production code while ensuring system stability as the product scales.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and deploy production-quality software across different layers of the application.
• Collaborate with product management and design teams to define project scope, analyze technical trade-offs, and establish delivery schedules.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code, and conduct comprehensive code reviews for peers.
• Troubleshoot and solve production issues, including participating in on-call rotations when necessary.
• Influence technical architectural choices and contribute to long-term technology roadmapping.
• Mentor junior engineers and help enhance internal engineering standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least three years of experience developing scalable production-grade software.
• Expertise in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, Go, or TypeScript.
• Practical knowledge of relational databases and designing modern APIs (REST or GraphQL).
• Experience utilizing cloud infrastructure services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of system design principles, software testing methodologies, and Git-based version control.
• Experience working in Agile or other collaborative software development environments.
