Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer to remotely design, develop, and deploy features spanning the entire tech stack. This position collaborates closely with product and design teams to convert requirements into robust, well-tested code and to ensure system stability as the product expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and deliver production level code throughout the application stack
- Coordinate with product and design teams on feature scoping, technical compromises, and timeline management
- Produce clean, well-tested code and participate in thorough peer code reviews
- Troubleshoot and solve production issues, including participating in on-call rotations when necessary
- Engage in architectural decision-making and long-term strategic planning for technology
- Guide and mentor junior engineering staff and contribute to refining internal engineering best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience developing production-grade software at scale
- Expertise in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, Go, or TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with relational databases and designing modern APIs (REST or GraphQL)
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of system design, testing methodologies, and version control using Git
- Experience operating within Agile or similar collaborative engineering frameworks

Compensation
