Key Responsibilities

  • Developing high-quality mobile applications for major clients across Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.
  • Improving product excellence by incorporating containerisation and continuous integration into the DevOps process.
  • Participating in the full software development life cycle including system design, analysis, scoping, and estimation.
  • Investigating new technologies and applying them to projects to foster innovation.
  • Exhibiting leadership, motivation, and maturity in the work environment.
  • Driving change and encouraging a culture of collaboration within the team.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to resolve complex business issues and promote ongoing improvement.
  • Mentoring colleagues to maintain high standards and accountability.
  • Building strong customer relationships, understanding their requirements, and tailoring impactful solutions.
  • Managing client expectations and spotting opportunities to enhance services.
  • Ensuring adherence to data security standards and industry regulations.

Candidate Requirements

  • At least six years of experience as a software engineer in an enterprise setting.
  • Strong grasp of software engineering fundamentals with dedication to clean coding and best practices.
  • Expertise across multiple technologies and the capacity to quickly learn new frameworks.
  • Proven ability to architect and organize small-scale projects within large enterprise contexts.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills coupled with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model, typically attending the office two to three days per week.
  • Strong client-facing skills and adaptability to varied working environments and tools.
