Job Overview
The Scheduler will oversee the day-to-day scheduling operations of all SmartService vending routes, ensuring efficient route management and communication with drivers and customer service managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily route scheduling process for vending and market services using the Cantaloupe scheduling system.
- Utilize merchandising tools within Cantaloupe to manage product placement across routes.
- Serve as backup Pick Line Supervisor and Picker when necessary.
- Maintain daily communications with drivers and customer service managers to update on schedule modifications, merchandising updates, missed or skipped stops.
- Provide regular reporting and progress updates to senior leadership and drivers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with route driving, preferably within the branch.
- Ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Proficient with computer applications, including Excel, analytics, and emerging technologies.
- Strong communication skills and high attention to detail.
Work Schedule and Location
Full-time position based in Tallahassee, FL (1491 Quality Way). Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role is remote with location-based coordination.
Compensation
Hourly wage ranges from $25.00 to $30.00.
