About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially savvy Revenue Manager to join a prominent hotel located in Dublin. This role offers a valuable chance for a hospitality expert to become an integral part of a vibrant leadership team focused on optimising financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute pricing and inventory strategies aimed at maximising room revenue and overall profitability.
- Continuously track competitor pricing, market developments, and local events to uncover new revenue opportunities.
- Generate accurate demand forecasts and analyse key performance indicators including occupancy rates and average daily rates.
- Oversee room inventory management and manage relationships with distribution channels and online travel agencies.
- Compile detailed weekly and monthly revenue performance reports for senior leadership.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Reservations departments to align efforts towards business growth.
- Conduct periodic reviews of pricing structures and suggest adjustments as needed to remain competitive.
- Maintain the integrity of revenue management systems and ensure precise reporting.
Candidate Requirements
- At least three years of proven experience in hotel revenue management roles.
- Strong analytical thinking, numerical proficiency, and adept problem-solving capabilities.
- Familiarity with property management and revenue management platforms, particularly OPERA.
- Excellent organizational skills paired with effective communication abilities.
- Capable of operating independently with sound commercial judgement.
- Understanding of the Dublin hospitality industry is an asset.
- A qualification in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is advantageous.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is between €50,000 and €55,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
