About the Role
As a Pricing Analyst at Motion Asia Pacific, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Strategic Pricing Manager and sales teams by defining and securing pricing value that drives growth and profitability. This role involves using BI tools, pricing software, and ERP systems to develop and maintain pricing models, design pricing initiatives, automate pricing reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, and IT.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and ensure the accuracy of pricing models within the company's ERP system.
- Implement pricing software by creating rule-based pricing modules to manage customer price lists efficiently.
- Automate and generate price health metric reports to monitor sales price realization.
- Assist the Strategic Pricing Manager with designing and executing pricing strategies.
- Define and streamline manual routine processes related to pricing.
Who You Are
- Experienced in pricing strategies and data analytics or data science.
- Proficient with relational database structures, building them through BI tools or SQL.
- Familiar with price matrix systems and pricing principles.
- Knowledgeable in programming languages ranging from BI-specific tools like DAX and M-language to general-purpose ones such as Python and Java.
- Proven experience working collaboratively with sales teams.
- Advanced computer skills, especially with Excel, and the ability to convert data into dashboards and visual insights.
- Comfortable working in a cross-functional team environment engaging multiple key stakeholders.
