Role Overview
As a Pool Lifeguard, your primary responsibility is to safeguard all guests using the swimming and leisure amenities by supervising activities, reacting promptly to emergencies, and maintaining a safe, clean, and hospitable environment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old in compliance with working time regulations.
- Possess a current RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
- Applicants not already employed by Active Tameside must successfully complete a competency assessment.
- Employment is conditional on passing an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- External applicants must provide a valid, up-to-date NPLQ certificate.
