Java Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to design, build, and enhance high-quality Java and Spring Boot microservices and RESTful APIs. The position emphasizes scalability, robust performance, and clean API development while continuously improving existing architectural frameworks and system designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement Java Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Analyze and optimize system architecture by identifying weaknesses or inefficiencies in current designs.
• Lead efforts to redesign services and ensure their successful production deployment.
• Manage and prioritize the development backlog, detect potential risks early, and formulate mitigation strategies.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least 8 years of professional experience in backend development using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices at scale.
• Expertise in system design including domain modeling, API contract definition, resiliency, and monitoring.
• Strong familiarity with CI/CD processes, containerization, and Git-based pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins as a CI/CD tool.
• Proficient knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or their equivalents.
• In-depth experience deploying and managing applications in AWS cloud environments.
• Comprehensive understanding of distributed systems, RESTful API standards, and cloud-native architectural patterns.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities combined with effective communication skills and teamwork aptitude.
