About the Role
This position is for a restaurant managed by an independent franchisee licensed to operate using McDonald’s branding and products. The franchisee is a separate employer responsible for all employment-related decisions, while McDonald’s USA is not involved in hiring or employment matters.
Role Overview
The General Manager oversees the profitable operation of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s high standards for quality, service, and cleanliness. Partnering with leadership, the General Manager sets goals for the restaurant and devises strategies to achieve them.
Team Leadership
The General Manager leads a team of Department Managers by assisting them in goal-setting, monitoring their progress, and providing coaching to improve departmental performance. They may also hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team for the restaurant.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will have prior experience as a General Manager in high-volume establishments, preferably within quick-service restaurants, hospitality, or retail environments. Applicants must be 18 years or older.
